Today i'm posting about a well-known Florida lawyer named Jack Thompson. He's known as the guy in the gaming community that blames everything on the game Grand Theft Auto. Up until recently, he protested the sale of Wii toys at Wendy's restaurants just because Manhunt 2 was coming to the system. On every interview with every news channel, he uses the same information on every debate or argument. He blames every school shooting on a videogame, say Virginia Tech. Thompson said that Cho used the game Counter-Strike as a training method for the shooting. On another school shooting, he said the shooter played the game Halo 2 to train. He's also protested against Howard Stern. Jack took legal measures to get the Howard Stern show banned from a radio station. He helped out with a legal case against the rap group N.W.A. because he felt their music was "obscene". Guess what, he was succesful with that case. Another notorious incident was with the game Bully by Rockstar, also known as Take-Two Interactive. He didn't even play the game and he already judged it over screenshots he saw over the internet. He wanted the game to be rated M, but that never saw the light of day. The game ended up getting a T rating. Whatever happened to free speach.
